Monroe North Business Association and Square Peg Events present ARTBEAt!

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience, explore and feel the beat of the Monroe North Business District. This energetic neighborhood party will immerse you in the experiential spirit of ArtPrize in one of Grand Rapids’ recently revitalized neighborhoods that is experiencing a renaissance of commerce, culture and fun.

 

In homage to our rejuvenated industrial neighborhood, we invite you to travel back in time with us to re-imagine a past with science fiction and fantasy known as Steampunk. Explore peculiarities of the Victorian era and the Industrial Revolution during the 1800's - clockworks, goggles, gadgets, and gears... Come dressed in your finest steampunk attire (if you like) and check out our Steampunk-inspired human sculptures! Think MadMax meets Wild Wild West! 

This free all-day of delights features an afternoon of family-oriented activities followed by an

evening of adult-oriented adventures.  And of course, relish the grand gestures of merchant promotions and specials, drink and food specials, and raffle prizes.

11 am - 4 pm
"Art" Pub Crawl at local bars: The Garage Bar, Rocky's, Gray Skies Distillery & the SpeakEZ Lounge

$10 for free and discounted drinks at each bar and $5 to play poker while you crawl. Registration at the Garage Bar (11 a.m. - Noon). Must be present to in poker game prizes at 4 p.m.. All proceeds to benefit the Monroe North Business Association.
